Subplate Recordings proudly presents on SUBPLATE-083 the follow up release of UK based artist "Hickupz". After releases on imprints such as Planet Misteron, Twisted Sounds, Actin Out, Madworld, and his previous Subplate Recordings release with "Exsitu", Birmingham based "Hickupz" is back with 2 exceptional slices of minimal deepness with equal parts evolving atmosphere, equal parts filth, that carry enough pressure to suck the breath out of your chest. "Gault" brings a floating, dreamlike journey through space before plunging deep into an inescapable black hole while "Zephyr" rolls along long like a growling monolithic creature consuming all that it encounters on its hunt. A sonic exploration of the deep side of drum & bass, Hickupz has taken us deeper than ever with the vibe dial cranked all the way to overflow.
